Lamination

Covers are printed onto 300gsm card and are gloss or matt laminated, unless you request otherwise. Whiteboard covers will be gloss laminated as this allows them to be written on with a dry wipe marker pen. Matt lamination is used if you require students to permanently write onto the cover in biro or similar pen. This may be space for personalisation or their timetable, for example.

Personalisation

Space can be left on the front cover for the stundent's name and any other relevant information.

Colours

Your cover could be designed to reflect your school colours, or a different colour scheme could be used for each edition.

Artwork

Why not let the students design their own covers? You could select artwork yourself, or run a competition for the students to design their own.

Photographs

Photographs can be an effective way of creating an engaging cover design.

Achievement Logos

If your school has achived standards, you could include these.

Logos and Crests

Incorporate your school logo or crest onto the cover for a clear, strong effect.

Corporate Brand

If you have a school prospectus or information book, then you could base the planner covers on a similar design, colour scheme or layout.
