Yes!  Photographs often help create an effective and engaging cover design.  Either send high resolution digital files or a high quality printed image or photograph for us to scan.  Please retain copies of all files sent; original prints will be returned to you if requested.

None!  We believe the planner should be tailored to the exact requirements of your school.  We do, however, offer a huge library of ideas to use as starting points, along with pre-printed colour sections (such as maps and and homework section).

We don’t believe one size fits all.  You can put together a reference section from our comprehensive library of pages and even amend the design to fit your way of working.  We do not charge extra for you to have different editions for each Key Stage or year group (e.g. with different reference / subject specific pages in each).

As long as we can interpret your instructions, you can supply your information in whatever way suits you.  It would be helpful to pass on any digital content you have to save typing time, but anything from handwriting to photocopies is fine.

Simply mark on any changes you would like us to make.  All pages can be edited.  With the exception of our pre-printed colour sections, there is no charge for amendments to library pages.

We will design it for you. 80% of pages we print are original designs (though many are based on our library pages).

We do offer a ‘print only’ service (please call for details, as library page exclusions/terms apply), though allowing us to do the design frees you up to concentrate on content.

We choose not to use metal spiral binding because it deforms beyond repair too easily and allows pages to tear in a short time.  We guarantee our plastic coil-bound planners will last a year (unless deliberately damaged).

The School Planner Company can reprint 50 or more of your planners at the same unit cost as your original order, so we advise you order some extras to cover losses or new students and order more if required.  There is no benefit to you in paying for and holding stock which may become obsolete at the end of the year.  We may need to make a small additional charge for reprints of less than 50 copies.

We do thoroughly proofread all planners we design, but it is still essential that you check proofs carefully to make sure instructions have been interpreted correctly at all stages.  Note: we do not proofread ‘DIY’ planners (i.e. where you have submitted ‘print ready’ artwork).

You must ensure that no copyrights are infringed when supplying your requirements.  However, our extensive library has good alternatives (or the originals!) for a wide range of content.

The delivery cost is included in the basic cost of our planners.  There are no hidden costs.

We do not offer spiral-bound hard-back diaries as we would not be able to include them in our quality guarantee.

The full colour homework pages can be edited, but then becomes a bespoke section at extra cost. If printed in colour, it may only be cost-effective on large orders.

We will edit any of the pages in our library to best meet your requirements, or create original designs for you.

We can produce planners in any size up to A3, though A6, A5 and A4 are most cost-effective.

We can produce one-offs of your planner editions in a larger size or using particular paper colours (e.g. blue) if this helps readability for some of your students.
